The Brief

Initially the clients were considering a timber door but all this changed after they spent time browsing the displays in the showroom.  They finally opted for the Shaker-inspired Broadoak cabinetry in a painted alabaster finish.  They loved the light ambience that the painted design created and co-ordinated both worktops and the range cooker with light complimentary tones.  The worktops are marbled almond quartz, having the look and feel of marble but all the practical benefits of quartz.

Designer's Tips

The clients were particular about symmetry so the overall scheme is balanced.  To inject interest to the design a solid walnut lower level table area not only adds warmth but creates a handy place to relax and socialise.
