The clients’ house is on a working farm and the kitchen has always been the hub of the home. For their new kitchen they wanted to retain a traditional look to complement the character of the property but wanted a more practical layout. They opted for a mix of Broadoak painted ivory and oak cabinetry, including feature curved cupboards, which not only suit the space but team beautifully with the Aga range cooker.
The clients were determined to keep the surfaces clear to maximise worktop space and achieve the full visual effect of the striking cosmic black leather worktops. An elegant internal curved pantry was included in the design to house the mixer and larger items. This is not only great for storage and convenient for baking as the mixer is ready to use without having to lift it out, but also keeps the surfaces clear.
