A substantial extension housed the new kitchen living space to the rear of the family home. With masses of natural light flooding through the skylight and solid timber bi-fold glazed wall-to-wall doors out to the garden the clients opted for the Broadoak cabinetry to add warmth and a natural feel to the scheme. A pull-out larder next to the American fridge-freezer creates lots of useful storage.
This open-plan space is very well zoned, with specific areas for distinct activities, however by keeping the flooring and wall colour consistent the room has a very unified feel. The oak dresser and dining table complements the natural oak kitchen furniture. The room is now the place where the family spend most time together.
