The Brief
This kitchen has the luxury of space so a large island is very much the centrepiece of the design, creating a social hub where friends and family can get together. As the room is long, gently rounded cabinets soften the lines and also add a bespoke feel to the design. A key requirement of the brief was for plenty of hidden storage to ensure the worktops remain clutter-free.
Designer's Tips
If you are looking for enduring style then a Shaker design is hard to beat. The blend of natural oak, black granite worktops and a light cream floor has timeless appeal and creates a warm and welcoming ambience.
