The Brief

The clients were looking for a simply styled kitchen in a classic oak. The warm, natural graining of Broadoak is emphasised with the neutral light quartz-effect  worktops. The result is a kitchen with clean lines and a very practical layout.

Designer's Tips

To avoid a wooden kitchen from being overpowering lighter worktops and neutral travertine tiles will instantly freshen the look. Introducing modern stainless steel elements will add a modern feel, as in this design where a statement chimney with contoured glass is a feature in the layout and breaks up the run of oak units.
