The Brief

The clients, a young couple expecting their first baby, were keen to create a large family space by knocking through the existing kitchen to the dining area.  The new room had to be child-friendly (no harsh corners) and have plenty of usable worktop to prepare meals.  The property is an old barn so the style had to be true to the age of the property. Natural oak timber was the perfect choice to emulate this look.

Designer's Tips

The radius feature panels on the cabinets create a softer aesthetic without going to greater expense of using more curved cabinets.  The balance is just right here and add an elegant touch to the design.
