The clients, a professional couple, wanted to modernise the tired, dated look of their 80’ styled kitchen, which being a dark oak matched the beams and made the room feel quite oppressive. They also wanted to review and refresh the working space to maximise accessibility to the items stored in each cabinet. They chose the Broadoak Almond doors as the light finish instantly brightens the room, with the classic Shaker design having a timeless feel.
Organised storage was very important to the clients so careful planning was paramount to ensure the layout was ergonomic with everything in the right place. The Shaker doors really suit the traditional beamed cottage but in the almond painted finish have given the space a more up-to-date aesthetic.
