The clients, a retired couple, wanted to enhance both the visual appeal and functionality of their kitchen. They selected the Shaker-inspired Broadoak cabinetry, painted in alabaster this creates a much lighter and airy aesthetic in the room. The inclusion of a seating area has created a much-needed place to sit, dine and relax and overall the layout is far more practical than in their previous kitchen..
To soften the lines the designer recommended the curved peninsular and together with the carefully considered palette of neutral colours and finishes the overall ambience is elegant and harmonious. Fully integrated appliances keep the overall look streamlined whilst a separate utility area provides additional storage helping to keep the beautiful worktops clutter free.
