The clients had inherited a dark and poorly designed kitchen to a more spacious and ergonomic space. Key requirements included better cooking facilities and smarter storage inside the cabinets to make it easier to organise and access ingredients and provisions. They opted for the Cornell design in a classic alabaster finish. Convex and concave curved cabinetry soften the lines.
As there’s plenty of natural light flowing through the room the designer recommended teaming the pale cabinetry with a striking dark granite, which adds a stunning contrast to the scheme. Other design touches include plate racks, open shelving and wicker baskets which had more character to the kitchen.
