The Brief
The clients had the luxury of space with their kitchen project and had lovingly restored the beautiful original features to their former glory. The Cornell Painted collection was the perfect choice to complement the architecture, with just the right amount of detail in the furniture. There are some modern touches in the design including the quartz worktops and steel bar handles.
Designer's Tips
In a large kitchen space, an island is a perfect solution to create a sociable hub in the room. In this example the island doubles up as a place for entertaining but is also a key area for food preparation. There’s ample storage with deep pan drawers and the island also incorporates a wine cooler. The stunning feature dresser is home to a very handy pantry.
