The brief was for a classic painted kitchen with a bespoke feel. The clients opted for the elegant styling of the Cornell design in a mix of willow and alabaster and with considered design the kitchen has a unique and tailored appeal. There’s a great mix of decorative features such as corbels, open wine racks and gently curved glazed display cupboards. As keen cooks the Stanley Range cooker is a feature of the design with a separate hob and eye-level oven as back up.
The kitchen had to work very hard on a practical level and the sink area features a stowaway for the washing machine and there’s a chef’s pantry and larder unit discreetly hidden behind doors delivering plenty of organised storage.
