The clients fell in love with the Cornell display in the showroom as it fit their brief for a traditional kitchen with timeless appeal. They chose painted alabaster for the majority of the cabinets with feature areas in China blue. As keen cooks they wanted plenty of surfacing for preparation and entertaining alike. The design also includes plenty of hidden and accessible storage so there’s a place for everything.
The worktops were an important element of the design, as they had to be practical as well as enhancing the visual appeal of the design. The Sardinian Grey granite delivers on both points and to add further interest was shaped in a curve above the hob which marries in the shape of bow-fronted drawers below.
