The Brief

The clients wanted to update their penthouse apartment kitchen and the sleek minimalist design of the Inzo (matt beige) cabinetry  teamed with quartz worktops offered an uncomplicated clean style that appealed immediately.  They wanted to refresh the outdated wall tiles to the denim blue glass splashback which brings colour and contrast to the scheme whilst being very practical. Appliances were updated with the very latest generation of Neff induction hobs, built-under oven, stylish chimney extractor, built-in combination microwave, slimline dishwasher and integrated washer dryer.

Designer's Tips

The clients were essentially happy with the existing layout but storage potential was not being maximised so the usable storage was increased by adding a 300mm pull out larder between the tall microwave unit and fridge freezer housing, and both corners now have Le Mans pull out mechanisms meaning that nothing is now lost in these often troublesome corner base units. The drawer arrangement is also better than previously and good storage is all about getting the right features in the right places, so things are on hand when you need them.
