The Brief

This project involved the removal of an existing wall to create a larger kitchen space. This opened up the design possibilities and enabled the clients to have the sociable hub they so desired.  They wanted to make their kitchen as light as possible so chose the Inzo cabinetry, teamed with a complimentary pale quartz worksurface, together with neutral and harmonising floor tiles.  The new design incorporates lots of storage, a key requirement of the brief, including a rack of wire pull-out baskets, which make contents more accessible.

Designer's Tips

To further enhance the sense of light and spaciousness a Velux window was included in the design which floods the room with natural light.  As keen cooks the clients love their slide-away oven, combination microwave, warming drawer, induction hob and not forgetting their much-desired boiling hot water tap.
