The Brief

The clients, a retired couple, wanted to completely freshen up the look and feel of their kitchen. It had previously had oak furniture, which was both dark and somewhat dated. Milbourne Alabaster cabinetry immediately lightens the look and feel of the space. Teamed with contrasting black quartz worktops and splasbhacks the colour scheme is distinctive and classic.

Designer's Tips

A dining area was essential as the owners were keen to spend more time in their new kitchen. To maximise space, instead of a standalone table and chairs, the designer created a breakfast bar. This is a great solution and also offers additional preparation space when required.
