The Brief

A large extension to the side of the property created a stunning space for the clients to achieve the multi-functional open-plan living space they so desired.  The client is an engineer so has a very keen eye for detail so the kitchen was meticulously planned and designed with precision with every finishing touch considered.  The Milbourne Alabaster cabinetry enhances the light and airy feel with the contrasting beech worktops adding a sense of warmth to the scheme.

Designer's Tips

The key to the success of the design is the continuity of the scheme through each zone.  The clients had struggled to find occasional furniture to link the kitchen and living areas so a custom-made side table with integral storage was created from the Milbourne range, which suits the room perfectly.  There are plenty of socialising points in the space and a fabulous outlook through the French doors out to the garden.
