The client is a very keen cook so his brief was for a kitchen that offered plenty of well-lit surfacing coupled with organised storage. The kitchen was also to be a social hub so a seating area was key to the design. He chose the classic lines of the Milbourne Shaker in a light alabaster painted finish. For added visual appeal the considered lighting scheme adds impact, as do the feature glazed cabinets with contrasting walnut interiors.
The designer recommended a lower-level dining area, surfaced in the same star galaxy black granite as the rest of the kitchen, creating a cohesive and smart look. To answer the storage needs the kitchen includes twoLe Mansclever corner systems as well as several narrow pull-outs to store towels, baking trays and ingredients.
