This quaint, rustic kitchen was designed and installed as part of a renovation project of the whole property. The clients wanted a warm, welcoming feel to their kitchen when friends and family came to visit, whilst having all the practicality of a working and living space. They opted for timber as a key material in the scheme, with worksurfaces, flooring, knobs and plate racks in oak, which contrasts beautifully with the Milton alabaster cabinetry.
Material mix plays an important part in the design, both on an aesthetic and practical level. Granite worktops were chosen for the Belfast sink area, not only introducing another elegant and natural material for visual impact, but also being a more practical material in a wet area.
