This kitchen was a new build, so we had a total blank canvas to work with! The customer wanted a family kitchen, perfect for practicality and everyday living as well for larger parties and gatherings. Using the neutral shaker stone door, married up well with the modern farm house they had built. The kitchen sits in a large open plan space where natural light floods the room. The white quartz worktops reflect this making the kitchen very crisp and clean. Symmetry was created on both walls with a chimney breast framing a range cooker, and two pantry cupboards framing a large mirror to reflect even more light. This kitchen needed to create an impact whilst still feeling classic and sophisticated.
Practicality and storage was important to the customer so two large pantry's were added to not only conceal the microwave and toaster, but to also create storage. Specifically these pantries are now used as a breakfast station, where oak shelves are filled with jars and cupboard food. The dresser set up, with drawers sitting underneath feels traditional and timeless.
