This was a family home for a mother and her older children, who are at university. Key to the design was to create a functional, simple and welcoming space that included a small breakfast bar seating area. It was about getting the layout right, the challenge was to include everything required in a modest kitchen space without compromising on its simplicity or the dining room space. The neutral tones of Porter Beige furniture has kept the scheme light and airy.
This was a project where the client had specific requirements but was happy to be guided by her designer. Reassurance and keeping everyone aware of progress instilled confidence and the client is over the moon with her new kitchen, which ticks all the boxes from her brief. This is a great example of how a small kitchen can be big on impact both practically and visually.
