The Brief
The clients wanted a practical kitchen space that would blend seamlessly into the living area. Neutral Porter Beige cabinetry teamed with quartz worktops and Amtico flooring create a modern yet timeless scheme. A bank of two self-cleaning ovens with steam oven and microwave above, together with a large induction hob and domino wok burner combine to offer a highly ergonomic cooking zone.
Designer's Tips
The lighting scheme has been carefully considered. Simple spots in the ceiling are augmented by under-unit lighting, plinth and shelf lighting, with pendants elsewhere, demonstrating a great mix of task, mood and feature lighting. This all creates a great atmosphere in this very sociable living space. Red has been used as an accent colour and adds personality to the design.
