The clients had quite different opinions when it came to choosing the design and materials for their new kitchen. As they rarely used the table and chairs in the kitchen, the designer recommended and island, still giving them somewhere to sit but also creating a useful prep area. The Porter Beige gloss cabinetry has given the room a lighter and fresher atmosphere, in spite of one of the windows being blocked up to create some additional storage as well as space to locate the hob and double ovens.
The clients were wary of losing a window in the room, however the designer was confident that this would not be detrimental to the light in the space. Quite the opposite, by opting for the lighter doors this only serves to enhance the brightness of the room, with the gloss surface reflecting the light around the room.
