The Brief

It was love at first sight with our Porter matt handleless door collection, and our clients, a couple from Greater Manchester wanted to replicate this look, including the floor which was displayed in Fineline Interiors showroom.

The couple had always used range cookers and wanted a free-standing range cooker from Rangemaster to be included into the new kitchen. Their wish list continued with an island unit and complementary wall tiles which they hoped to bring a rustic theme to the room.

Apart from increased space and clever storage solutions, our designer was left with the freedom to work his magic to create a stylish, functional new kitchen.

Designer's Tips

Originally, the flooring between the cooking and dining area was on two different levels, which divided the room up and restricted their guests from mingling with each other when entertaining. To fix this problem the floor was levelled and allowed their new kitchen flow seamlessly into the dining space.

Abundant natural light flows in through the windows highlighting the. Multi-colour split face slate tiles gave the kitchen a classic and timeless look whilst being contemporary enough to complement the Porter furniture.
