Porter Matt Cashmere

The Brief

This couple were renovating their family home and wanted a modern and sociable kitchen which united a minimalist style with warmth. To achieve this look, contemporary Porter matt cashmere doors with a square bar handle were installed which perfectly complemented Quartz, Galaxy Georgia worksurfaces, full height splashbacks and a custom-made dining table.

Designer's Tips

To utilise kitchen space and to aid the minimalist look, a sink was installed under the window ledge along with an integrated oven bank and fridge/Freezer.

 Slim 30mm Galaxy Georgia Quartz worksurfaces, island and splashbacks are a great way of creating a contemporary yet practical style. The island had been designed with a frame cloaked with panels to support the worksurface and gave enough space to accommodate a young family at dinner time.

 Oak flooring and Sensio under cabinet lighting are a great way of adding warmth and atmosphere to the room without it changing the style too much.
