The Brief

Key investments were the tall larders, the original plan was to have all base units but this not only added drama but also a lot more storage and a tall fridge/freezer they specifically desired. Using the grey tones of the kitchen, meant the customer could experiment with decorating the room. The mustard yellow tiles create impact and really finish off the space.

Designer's Tips

The essentials they were looking for was a sociable living space. This kitchen was going in a brand new extension and wanted to be sociable, full of lots of storage and plenty of worktop space. Being young, they wanted something modern that they could adapt to different trends with a little of a statement from the Graphite doors. The simple design of a long run, and a large island creates a huge amount of storage whilst keeping an aesthetically striking design.
