The clients’ house is a new self-build project and is home to an avid cook who wanted a kitchen that would be strong on both form and function. Handleless Remo Alabaster cabinetry keeps the room light and open, with Avant Ebony zebrano gloss creating a stunning contrast in the tall sections. Appliances are integrated and a slimline wine cooler is neatly positioned on the back end of the peninusular. Lighting is a key feature of the scheme, LED lights are recessed into the ceiling and the under-wall unit lights are flush recessed so are subtly out of sight.
The clients were keen to keep the design uncluttered and open, and were concerned that a hanging extractor would interrupt the views over the valley. The designer recommended a Neff flush ceiling-mounted extraction unit as a solution, which discreetly fits into the ceiling bulkhead. The solid quartz worktops feature a touch-control Neff induction hob. To enhancethe seamless aesthetic internal curved handleless cabinetry continues the smooth flowing lines.
