The clients wanted to achieve a modern yet easy-living ambience in their new kitchen. They loved the sleek lines of the handleless Remo Alabaster but were concerned it may look too minimal. By teaming the glossy cabinetry with timber this immediately add warmth and a welcoming feel to the space.
The kitchen leads through to a dining area but as the room is quite long the designer suggested a peninsular to create a natural divide between the functional area of the kitchen and the social aspect of the dining space. This breaks up the room really well and also adds additional worktop space and a handy place to perch.
