The clients wanted to maximize the natural light that floods into their kitchen so loved the idea of a high gloss door that would reflect the light and bounce it around the room. They kept the kitchen in a compact yet very ergonomic u-shape layout to allow space for their dining table and chairs. The peninsular ensures the kitchen is open and sociable.
The clients were working to a tight budget but wanted to inject some warmth into the scheme. This was achieved with the wood-look laminate worktops and then co-ordinating this by framing the units with timber-effect plinth, cornice and pelmet.
