The Brief
The clients’ home is a beautifully-converted old school that retains many of its original features. Whilst being respectful of the property’s architecture and heritage, the clients wanted something modern to reflect their lifestyle and interior design tastes. They opted for the handleless Remo Alabaster, which although a contemporary style, its design has clean lines and its simplicity is perfect for highlighting the architectural characteristics of the room.
Designer's Tips
With the luxury of a high ceiling the designer recommended extra-tall units, this had the added benefit of creating more storage. The island is the focal point of the room, with an accent area in timber adding warmth to the design.
