The clients were keen to maximise the use of their new kitchen space, envisaging that it would become the room where they would spend much of their free time. By removing a dividing wall the kitchen now benefits from the natural light that comes in through the existing patio doors. With space for some easy chairs, a peninsula for dining and enhanced storage, the kitchen is now multi-functional on many levels.
Whilst the clients loved the clean lines and subtle colour of Remo Beige they did not want the overall look to be too neutral. They opted for the dramatic cosmic black granite which is predominantly dark colours but has lighter flecks to complement the beige cabinetry. Improved storage was an essential part of the brief, and the clients are delighted with the pull-out tandem larders and a tambour unit
