The clients extended their kitchen to create a multi-functional space that would become a key social hub in their home and also accommodate more appliances so they could indulge their love of cooking and entertaining. Having decided on a sleek handleless design, to create a streamlined aesthetic, they opted for the Remo range in a light beige finish to achieve the bright and airy ambience they had in mind.
A key consideration of the design was to ensure the room had a light and welcoming atmosphere and the combination of the high gloss doors, teamed with pale quartz worktops, bounces the light around the room and further enhances the sense of space. The peninsular is a focal point of the design and creates generous preparation workspace, an important factor for the keen cooks. The peninsular rounds off with a circular dining table, which delivers the strong social element of the design. Task lighting has been used to great effect throughout.
