Our customers brief was to create a lighter & more open kitchen with a wow factor. A small window was removed and larger French doors installed to give access onto the patio & garden, this also brings light flooding into the previously dark kitchen.
To achieve their desire of a contemporary and streamline kitchen they chose to replicate a display in the Inline Kitchens showroom. They opted for contrasting Remo silver grey gloss & graphite matt units. Silestone Blanco Stellar quartz worksurfaces with matching end panels & full height aubergine glass splashbacks provide the striking look they wanted to achieve.
High on our customers wish list was a bank of tall larder units to house the two ovens and full height fridge & freezer, however, they also wanted to retain an area where the could sit and have a morning coffee or lunch without using their formal dining room. We suggested breaking the larder units with a quartz peninsular & end panel that was open underneath to still allow light to flow through the kitchen.
An induction hob with built in gas wok burner and a Quooker fusion boiling tap provide them with functionality they were looking for whilst maintaining overall contemporary and streamline scheme they were wanting to achieve.
