The client’s existing kitchen was traditional and dated - they wanted something modern, handleless and in a gloss door to reflect the light in the space.
They already had a peninsula which worked well, but we made it bigger to include more storage and worktop space.
The client had a large cupboard in their existing kitchen which they wanted removed so that they could have a tall bank. This is where we designed a tall, integrated fridge, an integrated double oven and microwave and a tall, integrated freezer. They only had a built under, freestanding fridge in their existing kitchen so they needed a lot more fridge and freezer storage, especially as they often had the grandchildren round.
The client’s boiler was originally on the floor of the utility room but it was replaced with a wall mounted boiler, which we housed in a dresser unit.
The existing, traditional wall tiles were removed and replaced with a laminate upstand to match the Dark Real Oak worktop for a modern look.
Two Le Mans corner units meant the clients could access things stored in the corners a lot more easily than before. We also put three 500mm wide reduced depth shelved base units on the back of the peninsula for extra storage space.
Two sets of 800mm wide pan drawers are also much more practical, especially under the client’s hob for storing pans and cutlery.
