The clients were extending their home to create a new kitchen and covered veranda. Loving the clean lines of Remo they opted for a blend of graphite and cashmere cabinetry. The worktops are crisp and modern, the cloudy quite quartz contrasting beautifully with the furniture whilst offering a very practical surface. The colour scheme fits their desire for a contemporary interior, whilst having a timeless feel.
The island, with seating, was a key requirement of their brief and the designer suggested incorporating the bowed area. This not only adds a interesting design feature but also accommodates the seating for four without being near to the hob. The timber-backed bar stools complement the walnut-topped mid-height units and inject warmth to the interior.
