The clients wanted to increase the size of their kitchen to create a much more functional and sociable space. Knocking through two rooms to one achieved this and allowed for a central island to become the focal point of the design. Bi-fold doors were installed to open the room out to the garden, bringing the outside in. They opted for Remo handleless cabinetry in a fresh white high gloss finish.
To add more visual interest to the scheme the designer recommended a contrasting plinth and back panel in an on-trend graphite finish. The island is very much at the heart of this scheme, with seating for four as well as delivering ample preparation space.
